Terms of Service | R&G Towing

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the R&G Towing website and your purchase of towing, roadside assistance, and automotive repair services from R&G Towing, owned and operated by Peter Kioko ("R&G Towing," "we," "us"). By using our website or requesting service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services

We provide light, medium, and heavy-duty towing; dealer logistics (auction pickups, lot transfers, trade-ins, repos); 24/7 roadside assistance (jump starts, lockouts, fuel delivery, tire changes, winch-outs); and automotive repair and maintenance. Service availability depends on location, traffic, weather, and equipment availability.

3. Pricing & Payment

Local dealer pickups within 20 miles are flat-rated between $85 and $200 per car; exact pricing is confirmed by phone before dispatch. Roadside, long-distance towing, and repair pricing is quoted on request and may vary based on distance, vehicle weight, time of day, equipment used, and parts/labor required. Payment is due at the time of service unless you have an established dealer account with written terms. We accept the payment methods listed at time of service.

4. Authorization & Vehicle Condition

By requesting service you represent that you are the owner of the vehicle, an authorized agent (such as a dealer or insurer), or otherwise legally permitted to authorize the tow or repair. You agree to disclose any pre-existing damage, mechanical issues, modifications, or hazards (e.g., low ground clearance, aftermarket suspension, EV/hybrid status, leaking fluids) before service.

5. Cancellations & No-Shows

You may cancel a service request before a truck is dispatched at no charge. Once a truck is rolling, a trip/dispatch fee may apply. If our driver arrives and the vehicle or authorized party is not present, a no-show fee may be charged.

6. Limitation of Liability

R&G Towing carries commercial auto and garage-keepers insurance customary for our industry. Our liability for any loss or damage to a vehicle while in our care is limited to the lesser of the actual cash value of the affected component or the limits of our applicable insurance policy. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for incidental, consequential, indirect, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost use, or rental costs. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

7. Personal Property

You are responsible for removing personal property from a vehicle prior to tow when feasible. R&G Towing is not responsible for personal items left in a vehicle except as required by law.

8. Repair Warranty

Repair work is backed by a limited workmanship warranty for 30 days or 1,000 miles (whichever comes first), unless a different warranty is stated in writing on your invoice. Parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, neglect, or further modifications after our work.

9. Website Use

The content on this website is provided "as is" for informational purposes. We may update or remove content at any time. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use it to send unlawful or harassing communications.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or our services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
